Fishing Holes
There are several popular fishing holes in the League City area. At Rustic Oaks Park you’ll find a secluded fishing pond stocked with fish by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The park is also great for birding, and has a playground and athletic fields.
Heritage Park includes a scenic pond, kayak launch, and a bird watching platform on one acre of wetlands that flow out into Clear Creek. This picturesque park is an excellent spot for fishing, and also has a playground and local museum. Cast your line anywhere along Clear Creek, including Walter Hall Park, Challenger 7 Memorial Park, and Countryside Park. Abundant fishing opportunities can also be found at Lake Friendswood Park, Bay Area Park, and Pine Gully Park. Anglers will find even more fishing experiences around Clear Lake, throughout Galveston Bay, and of course in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
